When does the 2027 NFL season start?

How long is the NFL offseason?

About seven months. The season ends with the Super Bowl in mid-February. The draft is in late April, and training camps open in late July. The preseason runs through August, and the regular season returns in early September. Preseason games don't count toward this bar.
